Plaisance-Puilboreau area, Nord Department

The communities of Plaisance and Puilboreau are situated in the Massifs du Nord near the high point of the road (RN1) that runs from Cap-Haïtien to the Haïtian capital of Port-au-Prince. This area is home to the Koperativ Plante Volonté Chanpay (Voluntary Producers Cooperative of Champagne) and the Koperativ Plante Kafe Pilbowo (Coffee Producers Cooperative of Puilboreau) - KOPVOCH and KPKP.

Plaisance is a beautiful mountain village and the peak of Puilboreau (or Pilboreau) is the highest point on Route Nationale 1.

As with the Borgne area, more shade is available from natural forest remaining in the Plaisance-Puilboreau area.
