Communal development through Fairtrade, and the formation of democratic and transparent organisations controlled by producers.

Aims and objectives:

RECOCARNO strives to improve the livelihood of their members by promoting a democratic structure, providing support for production and organising the purchase and trading of members' produce on the local and international market; farmers are no longer bound to intermediaries to sell their produce. Being on the FLO register allows producers to benefit from FT prices and the FT premium.

Ideals and aspirations:

- Increased transparency and members’ participation
- Increased production and improved quality
- Diversification into other crops to increase members’ income.
- Better quality of life for members and their communities.
