The
Abraham Shepherd Prize for a brave woman.... Meet a smiling and charismatic woman called Mrs St Cregis. She is a 70 year-old woman with a husband and seven children. It has been 3 years now since her husband became blind and she has been looking after the family farm since then alone. She is currently a Board member at COSAHEC and has been member of the cooperative since its establishment in June 1977. During the National Agricultural Fair, she received the Abraham Shepherd Prize for her courage, long membership, her commitment, and her active role at COSAHEC. |
