Green coffee is mixed by hand in
batches of about 40 bags at a time at COSAHEC, CAFUMO and CACGAVA
mills. This will change when the new central
processing facility is completed at Plaine du Nord, just outside
of Cap-Haïtien and an ideal location for this stage of the process,
immediately prior to export.
The next stage of processing is bagging
of the export-quality RECOCARNO washed Arabica coffee.
